About the Vineyard

Louis Mangels bought 240 acres in Suisun Valley in 1876 and planted grapes; by 1906 the family winery made 500,000 gallons a year.

Gary Mangels planted his first vines in 1991 and founded Mangels Vineyards with winemaker Gina Richmond in 2009.
