About SacFM
Sacramento is America's Farm-to-Fork Capital. SacFM celebrates the restaurants that name their farms on the menu, and the farms, ranches, orchards and fisheries behind what they cook.
Where the information comes from
Restaurant entries come from the restaurant's own menu: its website, a photo of the menu or chalkboard, or a tip we've confirmed. We record each farm name the way the menu prints it, along with the dish and the menu's date.
Everything about a farm (where it is, what it grows and when, which markets it sells at) comes from the farm's own website and public records. Each entry lists its sources and the day we checked them.
Send us a farm
Work in a kitchen or on a floor, or just saw a farm on a chalkboard? Email tips@sacfm.com, message @themklibrary on Instagram, or tag #sacfm. Send a photo of the menu and tell us the restaurant, the dish and the farm. We check every tip with the farm or the restaurant before it goes up, and we'll credit you or leave your name out, whichever you prefer.
Who makes it
SacFM is by Michael Kahn of MK Library, Sacramento's own blogger and content creator.
