About the farm
Multigenerational Swiss-American-Ethiopian family farm of 11 acres on Highway 16 at the start of the Capay Valley, bought by the family about 36 years ago.
Ducks graze the orchard for pest control and fertility; the farm runs a duck egg CSA.
Family members include Hans Herren and Barbara Gemmill-Herren, and Gisele and Henok, who lead the farm's regenerative redesign.
