About the olive oil
The olive oil brand of Polit Farms, run by the Polit family (Mike, Sherry, Nathan, Lukas and Nikkol), who began as organic rice growers in Colusa and Glenn counties.
The family says it has made Organic Roots oil since 2013 and runs its own mill.
CCOF lists Polit Farms as certified for crops and handling since 2001, covering rice, rice flour, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
