About the farm
Started by Clifford and Marion Cain in the 1970s and certified organic through CCOF since 1982, one of the oldest certified organic farms in California.
Jim Eldon was hired to manage it in 1991 and now owns it with his wife Julie Rose; he moved sales from wholesale to farmers markets and a CSA.
The farm has sold at the Davis Farmers Market since 1989.
